Featured History: Sam and Ag Roy had a suitcase full of photos. Most of the people in them are not identified. These photos are in the History item Unidentified Photos plus a few others from George Roy's collection. Can you help? or make a suggestion? |

Featured Most Wanted: Our earliest confirmed Roy ancestor is James Roy born about 1840 and possibly from around Belfast. There is a photo (illustrated) found in his grandson Sam's collection of a John Roy - but who is he?
This James has been merged with another James who has a father and brother named John. This chart illustrates this merger - it would be good to have more evidence. However, there is an alternative suggestion, made rather compelling in that the John in this family is the one in Sam's collection! Help!! |

Featured Overviews: The Royes pedigree includes the Houghams which in turn goes back to the Dukes of Normandy. This chart shows the links between the Houghams, Dukes of Normandy and English royalty. |
