When you go to a person's page, a menu appears below their name. If you are a registered person with access to information about living people and permission to download gedcoms (and are logged in!), you will see a menu something like this:

If you are a visitor you will see this menu for the same person (who is living):

And you may find variations on this theme! For example, the only reason "Media" and "Notes" are available to visitors on this menu is that these apply to the parents, who are deceased. If a visitor was viewing a living person with a living parent, these sub-menus would not appear. Also, these sub-menus do not appear if there is nothing there for that person.
