Introduction

The first thing to understand about searching for information on this site is that there is no single search engine for all the data. That is, you cannot search for, say "royes", and get a result including people's names, histories, articles, photos, etc. the way a Google search wil do on the web.

There is a search box for looking up names on the RRFL home page, but you can search for a lot more than just surname and first name(s). Notice the Find section in the drop down menu top right of every page: Surnames; Bookmarks; Places; Dates; Cemeteries; and Search. Also, other sections - media, notes and sources - allow you to search their respective databases.

So let's list what you can search for and where, and where you can find help in the Support pages [still being developed]:
