Why does >>Print<< appear in the top right of some pop-up windows?

The Print function in TNG (you need to use the Print button in the core menu items) omits the header (web page banner) and footer in order to print the information only. When you select this function a pop-up window appears to show you what will be printed (less ">>Print<<" and some background colours in tables).

This is a convenient way to have pop-up windows that show only the information referred to.

The text on the web page is too big/too small

If the font is too big or too small on the Family Links pages, you need to be aware that this depends on your browser's font settings, and to some extent on whether you are using Windows Internet Explorer (which tends to have larger fonts on screen than other systems).

You can change the font size temporarily in most browsers by using the [control] (Windows) or [command or Apple] button with the "-" key for smaller or the "+" key for larger. (Your browser may have provision for this in its menu bar.)

If the problem applies to many sites you look at, you should change your preferred font size in your browser so that you don't have to keep doing the above. Use your browser's own preferences or set-up. However, keep in mind that not all web pages are set up with a standard size font and you may still have to resort to the temporary shortcuts above.
