- Paymaster of HMS Syren made his will while lying ill in port at Plymouth. He gave to cousins Solomon and Charles to have in trust all his property at Rochester left by his mother. He willed his money to his grandmother Mary at Canterbury, remainder to his neice Mary, daughter of brother George, and his gold watch to Miss Ann March of St Dunstans "as a token of my esteem for her and her family"
