Green lines indicate multiple marriages

We have had to revise the Roy pedigree in light of recent evidence that links James the father of Thomas (grandfather of Maurie Roy) with James the father of brothers James and John. This was confirmed by the fact that both my data and that of another researcher contained the same photo of a John Roy.
Previously we had proposed that James father of Thomas was one born in 1840. But if James b. abt 1850 and John b.abt 1854 are his two brothers this is not possible - their father would have to have been born 1825-30.
